Bulgogi

BBQ Beef

Ingredients

  • 1 pound (450g) of beef strip steak
  • 1/2 Korean pear, pureed
  • 1/4 medium onion, pureed
  • 5 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp (5g) ginger, minced
  • 2 small green onions, chopped
  • 2 tbs (30ml) soy sauce
  • 2 tbs (30g) brown sugar 
  • 1 Pinch ground black pepper
  • 1 tbs (15ml) Sesame oil
  • 2 carrots, thinly sliced 
 

Step 1 - Prepping the Beef

  • Combine all ingredients, mix well and toss beef and carrots until fully coated.
  • Cover and refrigerate for 2-3 hours 
  • Grill on high heat.
  • Serve with a selection of Banchan
