Spicy Dipping Sauce Base

Ingredients

  • 6 Tbs (90ml) soy sauce 
  • 3 Tbs (45ml) water
  • 1 Tbs (15ml) rice vinegar 
  • 1 Tbs (15ml) sesame oil
  • 1 Tbs (15g) white sugar
  • 1⁄4 tsp (dash) ground black pepper
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1 bunch green onion, chopped
  • Optional: 

  • 1 Tbs (15ml) red pepper paste (Gochujang)

 

 

Mix, Rest and Serve

  • Combine all ingredients.
  • Allow to rest for 60 minutes, refrigerated .
  • Serve as Mandu, Stuffed Mushroom or Kimchi Pancake dipping sauce.
